The Beginning

What to Expect

Embark on your aerial journey with us through a nurturing and immersive introduction to aerial yoga and movement. Our Beginners Fundamentals Course is designed to support relaxation, recovery, and deep stretching, while also opening the door to the wider world of aerial practice.

Running several times throughout the year, this course offers a structured and supportive pathway for complete beginners, with no prior experience required. Keep an eye on upcoming dates or get in touch to be added to the waitlist so you’ll be the first to know when the next intake opens.

Classes are varied and thoughtfully structured, blending the calming, spa-like qualities of aerial yoga with the playful, expressive side of aerial movement. Some sessions invite you to slow down, unwind, and soften into the hammock with grounding, restorative sequences, while others build energy through strength, mobility, and light acrobatic exploration. You’ll experience a mix of hammock heights, gentle transitions, creative flow, and even moments of spin, all designed to help you feel supported, relaxed, and confident as you move.

Across the course, each session has a unique focus. You may explore aerial yoga as a restorative practice, develop flexibility and strength, or be introduced to the more dynamic, circus-inspired side of aerial hammock. We also incorporate elements such as floating sound meditation to close selected sessions, offering a deeply calming and immersive finish.

Throughout the program, you’ll build strong foundations in alignment, muscle engagement, and body awareness in the hammock. You’ll also gain an understanding of the differences between aerial yoga and other aerial disciplines such as silks, trapeze, hoop, and hammock, how they connect, how they differ, and how to navigate your own path depending on your goals. Whether you’re drawn to the therapeutic side or looking to step into aerial arts, this course supports both directions.
