Sharon’s Journey
My journey into Aerial Yoga and Aerial Acrobatics began in 2012. After delving into yoga & wellness coaching, I stumbled upon Aerial Acrobatics in London during a break from my design career.
My passion grew as I discovered the healing benefits for my back and the ability to manage ADHD through Aerial Yoga and movemnet.
This revelation ignited a desire to share my newfound practice with the world, inspired to become a coach.
Qualifications
I earned my first Aerial Yoga certification from The Aerial Yoga Academy, and furthered my certification at The Empowered Center.
I then completed my teacher training in Aerial silks, further expanding my repertoire.
In 2020, I deepened my Yoga expertise through training with Spanda School for Functional Flow Yoga Flow, delving deeper into spiritual teachings and asana knowledge.
As an Aerial Yoga Teacher Trainer, I am committed to continuous learning and have been teaching group and private classes since 2017.
I also share my knowledge by teaching circus classes for both kids and adults at The Circus Centre and Circus WA in Perth.
Young, Creative & Sporty
My athletic background includes a diverse range of sports, from ice skating to fencing, martial arts, gymnastics, paddle sports, swimming, cycling, and horse riding. My well-rounded experiences, coupled with my creative background in design, illustration, and performing arts, give me a unique, creative and detail-oriented approach to everything I do. My classes exude a magical aura, creating a special space for my students.
Health Coaching
I also have a deep interest in Neurodiversity, Hypermobility and Dyspraxia, a movement and coordination disorder I once struggled with. I believe that persistence and the right movement regimen can create new neural pathways and significantly improve this condition. As a certified Integrative Wellness coach, my method emphasizes a functional approach to achieve life balance, health and happiness, driven by my personal healing journey. I also specialize in managing hypermobility, offering insights and strategies to support her students’ well-being.
